What is RentClub?
RentClub is a Nordic marketplace where you rent out your things to others, and rent what you need from neighbours and businesses instead of buying new.
Is it free to join?
Creating an account and listing items is free. We charge 5% from the owner and 5% from the renter, only when a rental actually goes through.
How does renting work?
Find what you need, send a request with dates, and the owner approves. You pay securely, pick up the item and return it when you are done.
Is payment secure?
Yes. Payment goes through Stripe and is held until the rental is completed; the money is only released to the owner afterwards. That protects both sides.
How do I get paid as an owner?
You connect a Stripe account once. When a rental is completed, the amount is paid out automatically, minus our service fee.
What can I rent out?
Almost anything: tools, electronics, sports and outdoor gear, party supplies, garden and home. Add a short video clip; listings with video get more attention.
How do I earn credit by referring?
Share your referral code or a listing. When someone signs up through you, you earn credit, and even more when they complete their first rental. The credit is automatically applied to your service fee on your next rental.
What if something goes wrong?
Use messaging to agree on details, and leave a review afterwards. If a dispute arises, contact support; the payment is held safely while it is resolved.
